Where to Stay for Temper Festival 2026 — and All of NYE Week

New Year's week in San Diego just got a lot louder. Temper Festival — the brand-new one-day, three-stage electronic music event from LED Presents — debuts on Wednesday, December 30, 2026 at Petco Park (100 Park Blvd), with Zeds Dead, Sara Landry, Whethan, G Jones, Crankdat, Levity, Ninajirachi, and Tiffany Day (DJ set) on the inaugural lineup. It's 18+ and built for the NYE-week crowd.

And it's not alone: PROPER NYE/NYD, FNGRS CRSSD's two-day festival, runs December 31, 2026 through January 1, 2027 at Petco Park across five stages (Sara Landry, Lane 8, Green Velvet, Cloonee b2b KETTAMA b2b Josh Baker, Chris Lorenzo, Odd Mob, Eli Brown, and more). That's three nights of electronic music at the same venue — one trip, one base, zero logistics headaches between shows.

Base yourself downtown and Petco Park is your neighborhood. My SD Rental's 31 vacation rentals across Downtown, Bankers Hill, and Little Italy put you within easy reach of the stadium bowl — walk, rideshare, or hop the trolley. After the last set, you're home in minutes, not stuck in a stadium parking exodus. Our Little Italy lofts sit near the waterfront and the neighborhood's late-night food scene — ideal for the between-shows days.

Traveling with a group for NYE week? A loft or apartment beats stacking hotel rooms at holiday rates: full kitchen, living space, and room for the whole crew at a lower per-person cost. Most of our apartments and lofts include in-unit laundry, a dedicated workspace, parking, and utilities in the rate. (Note: our cottages don't have dedicated parking, but include everything else — and dogs are welcome at our cottages.)

Prefer a mellower New Year's Eve? SeaWorld San Diego runs a family-friendly NYE with a DJ dance party and 9 PM fireworks, included with park admission.

My SD Rental has been hosting guests for 10 years with more than 15,000 stays. Book direct at mysdrental.com and skip the guest service fees Airbnb and VRBO tack on — the same stay, for less. NYE week sells out early; lock in your dates now. Questions? Call (619) 567-2972.
